Not many organizations in Jamaica have blazed as extensive WITH THE COMPLIMENTS OF:
and impactful a trail in community development and poverty
reduction, as the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF). It is “Achieving prosperity through partnership, economic growth and
therefore without reservation and great respect that I salute sustainable development”
you on this your 20th Anniversary.

With programmes that have impacted the lives of residents in
both our rural communities and urban centres, JSIF is indeed
a life-changing force in our nation.

The methodology of JSIF, which is largely a community-
participative approach, results in partnerships that see
residents involved and invested in social development
projects to their own benefit. This results not just in a better
social environment, but gives rise to a people who have been
empowered to improve their lives. This is the great value of the
work of JSIF across Jamaica and we are indeed grateful to you
for two decades of exemplary service to the Jamaican people.

This milestone provides JSIF with the opportunity to look back
at its accomplishments with pride, and be inspired to continue
its great work in communities across Jamaica.
