Agriculture has always been a priority sector for the
      Jamaica Social Investment Fund.

JSIF also provided assistance for the health sector,
including the rehabilitation of the Sandy Bay Health
Centre at a cost of $21 million.

With funding of J$15 million from the Caribbean
Development Bank (CDB), JSIF signed agreements to
carry out rehabilitation work on the Osborne Store Early
Childhood Institution in Clarendon.

25 Career Advancement Programme students benefitted
from a literacy intervention programme financed by
the European Union under its Grants of Low Amounts
(GOLA) Project, and administered by the Jamaica Social
Investment Fund (JSIF).
